The former building of the now-defunct Troon Cabin Club is set to be demolished.
South Ayrshire Council has lodged a prior-notification of demolition for the facility at 7 South Beach.
The club, also a registered charity, ceased in March this year after running for almost 20 years.
It provided activities and recreation for older people across South Ayrshire, according to charity register OSCR.
Planning documents state: "It is proposed to demolish the former Cabin Club building near South Beach, Troon. The building has been unused and empty since last year."
