Tickets for one of Ayrshire's most popular family-friendly festivals are now on sale.

Nigefest 2024 will take place at The Tattie Shack on Monktonhill Farm in Troon on May 18 and will raise money for Whiteleys Retreat.

The festival was set up in 2021 in memory of Prestwick Scout leader Nigel Cochrane, who sadly passed away during the pandemic.

The annual festival includes live bands, acoustic sets, comedy, fairground rides, face painting, food vans, assault course, a licensed bar and much more.

Kids aged 14 and under go free with every adult and free buses will run from the site to Troon and Prestwick train stations.

Nigel suffered from diabetes for much of his life and all proceeds from the festival go straight to Whiteleys Retreat in Ayr.

The charity runs a farm retreat for children with life-limiting illnesses. Over £2,500 was raised for the charity during last year's festival.

Tickets for the 2024 festival are now on sale at www.ticketebo/nigefest/2024.
