A woman has been taken to hospital after a road traffic incident in Troon.
A section of Kilmarnock Road was restricted towards the A759 on the evening of Monday, December 18, as eyewitnesses reported seeing a car on its roof.
Police say that they attended the scene and a woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
The woman will be the subject of a report to the fiscal for alleged careless driving.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a crash involving one vehicle on Kilmarnock Road, Troon which happened around 8.25pm on Monday, 18 December, 2023.
"A woman was taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment and later discharged.
"She will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with careless driving."
