FOUR speed radars are to be put in place along Ayr’s Longhill Avenue in a bid to address speeding vehicles.
This was confirmed at a public meeting recently by Kevin Braidwood of Ayrshire Roads Alliance. Traffic Islands have been installed to address the problem.
Chairwoman Marilyn Dalgleish said: “When it comes to right way, people break the rules. There is flooding too.”
Concerns were also raised about cyclists on the route who don’t have enough space.
Kevin Braidwood said: “I will get someone to look into this.”
