AS the scoreline suggests Saltcoats were no match for a rampant Maybole side who

dominated the game from start to finish.

Maybole opened the scoring in the first minute when a long throw-in from Fraser McMillan was not cleared properly and Lewis Gardiner chipped the ball on to the

crossbar. The rebound fell to Chris Allan and he squared the ball to Ross Clark who netted. From the kick-off Saltcoats raced to the other end and James Sinclair turned

an effort from Jack Ewing out for a corner.

Maybole doubled their lead in the six minutes when Ryan McCubbin broke from midfield and set up Ross Clark who drilled the ball past the keeper

The next chance fell to Saltcoats in eight minutes but James Sinclair palmed a Thomas Donovan shot to safety.

The third goal came a minute later Chris Allan made his way into the box and went down under a challenge the referee pointed to the spot and Allan netted.

It was 4-0 in 32 minutes, Sam Nimmo netting from the edge of the box with a free-kick.

Maybole added a fifth three minutes later when Aiden Conner burst through to the

byeline and cut the ball back to Ross Clark who completed his hat-trick.

Ten minutes after the break James Sinclair turned a Ewing shot round the post for a corner.

On the hour, Maybole added a sixth when Nicky Warren netted with a shot from the edge of the box.

A minute later it was seven when Allan squared the ball to John Lowe who netted from 10 yards.

Maybole got their eighth in 70 minutes, substitute Lewis Dunn playing in Allan who netted.

The scoring was completed six minutes from time, Chris Allan completing his hat-trick, netting at the back post.
