A restaurant has bordered up its door after an attempted break-in took place early on Saturday morning.
Officers rushed to the premises of Benny's Fish and Chicken Bar around 2.50am.
Staff at the Alexandra Parade takeaway took to social media to appeal for information about the incident.
The post reads: "Unfortunately, there was an attempted break-in at Benny’s in the early hours of the morning.

"If anyone saw or heard anything, could you kindly pass it onto the Police at London Rd, who are investigating the incident and will be looking at the CCTV that surrounds the area.
"Hopefully, they will catch the male responsible."
The Dennistoun restaurant remains open despite being forced to border up the door.
A staff member added: "It’s disappointing especially in these hard times."
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police were called around 2.50am on Saturday, 30 May, 2020, following the report of an attempted break-in to a business premise on Alexandra Parade, Glasgow.
"Enquiries are ongoing to trace those involved."
