An Ayr funeral directors has adapted its service to help support families during the COVID-19 crisis.

Fosters Family Funeral Directors have introduced new measures that adhere to social distancing, such as a livestreaming service and providing digital Orders of Service.

They are also one of the few funeral directors in Scotland still able to provide families with the opportunity to

view loved ones within the safe environment of their parlours.

Sharon Pirie, funeral arranger at Ayr Fosters Family Funeral Directors, said: “We can provide guidance and advice by telephone or even through live video link ups, allowing you to chat to us face-to-face and get peace of mind that your wishes will be taken care of by our caring and compassionate team.

“When it comes to funeral services, we are on hand to provide the latest guidelines to families on who can attend and are utilising our larger service rooms to allow for safe social distancing.”
