Amazing teamwork was demonstrated at Prestwick Academy as volunteers managed to deliver more than 400 food boxes to the community.

South Ayrshire Council said: “We want to say a special thank you to all of our volunteers who are continuing to prepare and deliver food boxes to children who are eligible for free school meals in South Ayrshire.!”

Volunteers helped to prepare all the boxes and fill them with daily essentials, then delivered them to those in need across South Ayrshire.

Well done to everyone who has taken the time to help others, you are all doing a fantastic job!

If you and your family are eligible for free school meals and are in need of a food box, please don’t hesitate to contact South Ayrshire Council for further details.
