Catrine road closed until the end of the week
East Ayrshire Council has closed Newton Street in Catrine to all traffic until 5pm on Friday, February 14.
The closure is due to carriageway re-surfacing work and affects the road from the B705 junction through to its junction with Shawwood link road.
All vehicles except for those belonging to local residents requiring access to properties on the stretch of road affected, emergency service vehicles, and works vehicles are banned from using the stretch of road until works are complete.
Drivers are advised to detour along the B705, Sorn Road, Mauchline Road, A76, B713 and vice versa.
