ALLOWAY Primary celebrated Robert Burns in style, just a stone’s throw away from the Bards place of birth.
Children at the school enjoyed a traditional Burns supper of Haggis Neeps and Tatties all cooked up by the dinner ladies who dressed up in tartan.
Pupils also joined in on the act wearing colourful tartan as they tucked in to the feast.
Decorative posters were designed especially for the celebration, with bright Saltires on display which kids were eager to show off.
Everyone had a great time paying tribute to Alloway’s most famous son.
