KIND-HEARTED primary school pupils took time out from class to go shopping to help those less fortunate in their community.
Heathfield Primary School P5’s took to the nearby Asda superstore to collect items for South Ayrshire Foodbank - after teachers told them to swap Christmas presents for donations.
Kids were spotted with trolley loads of essential items that will go towards providing meals for those were left without over the festive season.
Teachers of the P5 classes told pupils not to bring them any presents this year and instead bring donations for the foodbank.
And after raising the cash, the children helped were on hand to take on a supermarket sweep at Asda.
Well done to all at Heathfield Primary School.
