AYR will become home to a new superstore this weekend as retail giant Home Bargains officially opens.

The store at Heathfield Retail Park will open on Saturday, November 23 at 8.30am.

The arrival of Ayr's first Home Bargains is set to provide the local community up to 40 new jobs in the community.

Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching our first store in Ayr and look forward to welcoming customers through the doors.”

The 20,000 sq ft store, which is a newly-built flaghsip unit, will offer shoppers a range of products, including homewares, health and beauty essentials, sweets, snacks and drinks, as well as fresh and frozen food.

Joe added: “Heathfield Retail Park will be a great location for us and we’re proud to be able to offer local people top-branded goods at exceptionally low prices.”

With more than five million customers each week, Home Bargains is one of the country’s best-loved discount retailers, stocking top-quality branded goods at low prices.
