TRIBUTES have poured in for an Ayr mum who was found dead at her home at the weekend.

Kirsty Robertson has been described as a parent who “lived for her kids” and an “amazing bubbly person” by shocked pals.

The mum had recently turned 29 and had a two-year-old son and seven-year-old daughter.

Tragically, Kirsty lost her parents when she was a child and her brother a few years ago.

A close friend to Kirsty, who met her seven years ago at a toddler group, has told how she was felt numb when she heard the news.

She said: “She was an amazing person, bubbly out going, she lived for her kids, she was amazing with a heart gold.”

“She had many, many friends, she used to message me every day. It’s hit a lot of people really hard.”

“Being a single parent, she made sure her kids never went without, she didn’t know the meaning of a lazy day, there was never a day that she done nothing. She was always taking them to the park.”

Now pals have set up a fundraising page to raise money for Kirsty’s funeral and help her kids.

Police are investigating Kirsty's death which is being treated as unexplained.

Officers sealed off part of Fulshaw Place as they spoke with neighbours yesterday.

Detectives will carry out furhter "forensic tests" after a post mortem earlier this week.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland told the Advertiser: “Around 11.30am on Sunday, October 20, a 29-year-old woman was found dead within a house at Fulshaw Place, Ayr.

Following a post mortem examination, the death is still being treated as unexplained and further forensic tests are being carried out."

"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
