SOUTH Ayrshire Life in Newmarket offers a whole range of help and advice sessions throughout the week. This week’s drop-ins are:
Drop in to the South Ayrshire Life shop at 57 Newmarket Street, Ayr on Thursday, September 12 from 2pm to 3pm for free hearing aid batteries and servicing. SISG, the Sensory Impaired Support Group, are also there to offer help and information to any older people with hearing or sight loss. A weekly drop-in session in Ayr town centre aims to help anyone in housing need. A support worker from SeAscape is available every Friday, from 10am to 1pm. The next drop-in is Friday, September 13.
Get advice on how to stop cold callers and protect yourself and your loved ones from scams at a Trading Standards drop-in event at South Ayrshire Life on Friday, September 13, from 2pm to 3.30pm. Trying to stop smoking? Get help and support from a Quit Your Way advisor every two weeks, from 2pm to 4pm. The next drop-in is on Monday, September 16.
