TWO crashes have caused traffic chaos on the A77.
An RTC involving a bus and a car took place between Maybole and Minishant leading to part of the A77 being closed off.
The driver of the vehicle has been air lifted to Queen Elizabeth hospital in Glasgow, it is not yet known how serious his injuries are.
And a second RTC involving three vehicles between Holmston and Whitlettes roundabout led to further distruption, as diversions were put in place.
Police responded to reports of the incident on the A77 at Holmston.
No injuries have been reported as officers work with emergency services to get the road clear.
Stagecoach services have also been affected 42, 43, 52, 58, 60, X16 & 361 may be subject to delays.
The road at Holmston has since re-opened.
