AN open day at Borders Pet Rescue in Earlston allowed the public to witness the work that goes into caring for the region’s animals.
A variety of furry friends were on their best behaviour to meet the public and show them around.
As well as looking behind the scenes at a busy rescue centre, visitors were able to see plans for ten new kennels funded by a £95,000 grant from Support Adoption For Pets.
A mini dog show was also held on what was an enjoyable and informative day.
