A MAN was allegedly found carrying a knife at Whitletts Road in Ayr at the weekend.
The 55-year-old was arrested at around 3.10am on Sunday, July 14 in connection with holding a weapon, as well as drugs.
Police pro-actively stop searched the man as it was believed he was in breach of his bail conditions.
A systems search allegedly confirmed this after he was apprehended for carrying the blade and a quantity of Class B drugs.
He was previously ordered to stay within his home address at night.
He was arrested and charged and conveyed to Ayr Police Station where he was held in police custody.
He was due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday, July 15.
