A PICTURE perfect display on an optician’s window has been inspired by a photographer’s love for Colchester.
Indre Kriauciunaite runs an Instagram page called Colchester Streets.
Her work is being showcased in the window of Bethell and Clark in Head Street.
Indre, 30, has lived in Colchester for nine years, and says she adores the town.
She said: “I love Colchester, I think it’s such a beautiful town and must be appreciated.
“It’s great fun and I get to meet so many interesting people.”
Emily Golding, of Bethell and Clark, who approached Indre to display her work in the window as part of the company’s 100th anniversary, says the response from customers has been positive.
Mrs Golding, who took over the business with her husband, an optometrist, in September, said: “Anything I can do to support and celebrate local talent I will. I love our town and our window is in such a great position to celebrate the town and showcase Indre’s talents.”
Indre says he favourite parts of town to shoot are the Dutch Quarter and the Sir Isaacs Walk/Eld Lane area.
Her pictures will be on display until May.
