A PRESTWICK man was the lucky winner of a local radio station's cash competition.
Steven Kerr bagged £25,792.63 when he picked up the phone to West FM and recited the figure back to them to claim the cash register.
The 49-year-old enjoys travelling the world and with plans already in place to visit China later this month, the Kerr family’s pot of spending money just got a whole lot bigger.
Dad-of-four, Steven said: “We’ve been planning our family holiday to China to mark a number of milestones including mine and my wife, Liz’s, 50th birthdays as well as our 25th wedding anniversary which we celebrated last year. It will be a trip of a lifetime and we knew there wouldn’t be any other holidays for a while but this win has just opened up a world of possibilities for more holidays.”
