Decision Day funding event on Saturday
RESIDENTS in Girvan and surrounding villages are being encouraged to vote for their favourite local community group at the ‘decision day’ funding event next Saturday.
The latest Girvan and South Carrick decision day will see groups pitch ideas for community projects and could be awarded up to £13,000.
The event was organised by Girvan and South Carrick villages’ locality planning group, who have encouraged people to get involved in local decision making.
The ‘decision day’ will take place at Girvan Academy on Saturday, March 2 between 10am-1pm.
