CONCERN is growing for a missing woman who vanished after she was dropped off in a taxi in Glasgow.

Barbara Cameron was last seen after being dropped off by taxi in Glasgow City Centre, North Claremont Street at Sauchiehall Street on December 10 at around 4pm.

The 48-year-old is 5ft 2 inches tall. She has a prosthetic left leg, short spiked grey hair and has piercings on her face. She was last seen wearing white baggy jacket with Bob Marley/Rastafarian logos on the back, green 3/4 length trouser and a pair of black slip on shoes.

Sergeant Linda Cotter, from Baird Street Police Office, said: "Barbara originally comes from the Fife area and there are health and welfare concerns surrounding her disappearance at present. I would appeal to anyone who has seen or had contact with Barbara to get in touch in order we can confirm she is safe and well."
