Special Constables like SPC Sturgeon play a vital and valued role in Keeping people safe in South Ayrshire.
SOUTH Ayrshire Police celebrated International Volunteer Day last week as they encouraged locals to get involved with opportunities with them to help keep the community safe.
A role of Special Constable will be taken for successful applicants and would involve interacting with all kinds of people in the community. This could involve assisting at a football match or a even a road accident.
The keeping people safe in South Ayrshire role would also involve patrolling the streets and preventing crime.
