HUNDREDS of youngsters flocked to Troon Library for a special crafts session.
The event was organised to tie in with the Wintertainment festivities.
And it was so busy the doors were opened at 12.30pm - half an hour ahead of schedule, as people were queueing up outside.
The Christmas craft session featured storytelling, face painting, a festive craft table, with some fruit punch also served.
Youngsters had the opportunity to stick their craft items on a paper tree to go on display.
Also on the day there were ex-stock book and ex-stock DVD sales, which went very well.
A library spokeswoman said: "The place was so busy and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves."
