THE Ballantrae Trust’s next performance in partnership with the Ayrshire Rural Touring Network is “Celtic Christmas Strings” in Ballantrae Parish Church on Saturday, December 8 at 7.30pm.
Trust Chairman Andy McAlpine said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Maire Ni Chathasaigh and Chris Newman with harp and guitar to Ballantrae as we count down to Christmas. We understand their repertoire includes a blend of traditional Irish music, swing jazz and bluegrass plus festive favourites with a fresh twist. We hope that villagers and surrounding communities will join us for this unique festive treat.”
Tickets priced at £9 (adults), £8 (concessions) and £6 (children) are available from Craigiemains Home and Garden Centre or the Gaiety Box Office 01292 288235.
