KEN O'Hara's Mad Productions toured Ayrshire with Catherine Czerkawska's The Price Of A Fish Supper - a one-man play about the demise of the Ayrshire fishing industry as seen through the eyes of Rab, an ex-fisherman and alcoholic.
The play, directed by Isi Nimmo, toured with Ayrshire Rural Touring Network and a leaving donation raised £250 for the RNLI.
Ken recently visited the lifeboat station to see at first hand the work of the RNLI and was able to present a cheque to Coxswain Joe Millar.
A delighted Coxswain Millar said later:"We would like to thank Ken and all who donated to the leaving collection for supporting the RNLI in Troon."
Following this year's tour, Ken is hoping to perform the play at the Scottish Parliament and is planning a special performance for the RNLI next year.
