TWO Nurseries in South Ayrshire have won outdoor Play More awards.

Aspire2Access and Busy Bees nurseries picked up awards that will provide support for their outdoor play areas.

As part of the award, Aspire2Access and Busy Bees Nursery in Ayr will both receive new Playforce play equipment to help develop their outdoor spaces.

The initiative has been designed to encourage parents and children to get back in touch with nature and explore the greatest playground on earth- the outdoors.

Set up by Sudocrem, nominations were made by parents from across the UK who believed that their local nursery deserved to win support to help improve their playgrounds.

Both nurseries were among ten winners chosen from over 1,000 entries.

Lisa Oyston, nursery manager at Aspire 2 Access said: “We are delighted to win this year’s Play More Award and would like to thank all those parents and supporters who nominated us.

“The children can’t wait to get outside and enjoy our improved outdoor play area.”

Marg Randles, co-founder of Busy Bees, said: “Winning this year’s Play More Award is really testament to the support of our wonderful staff and parents.

“The new play equipment will be enjoyed by the children for years to come.”
