MAYBOLE dominated the match but could not find a way past Lugar's defence, who

stifled any chances that were made.

A host of corners came to nothing but Maybole should have taken the lead on the half hour when a shot by Chris Allan was spilled by the Lugar keeper and the

ball fell to John Lowe but he shot over the bar from five yards.

Lugar had three players booked in quick succession for fouls on Lewis Gardiner as they fought to keep the score line blank.

A brilliant headed goal line clearance denied Damien Bloy the opening goal in 70 minutes.

Ten minutes from time, the home goalie produced a first class save to deny Lewis Gardiner.

Right on the final whistle, Gardiner was ordered off for making a gesture to one of his own players.
