THE news all Ayr United fans have been waiting for was confirmed on Thursday night when it was revealed that much sought-after tickets for January's hotly anticipated derby showdown against Kilmarnock will finally go on sale from this weekend.

Coveted briefs for the Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final at Hampden Park, the biggest ever game between the bitter foes at last go on sale at Somerset Park tomorrow (Saturday), from 9am and with demand expected to be very high queues can be expected.

Brian Reid and Kenny Shiels' teams go head-to-head on Saturday, January 28 and the countdown is well and truly on to the biggest game in a generation.

Club Shop opening hours for ticket sales are Saturday, December 17, from 9am until 5.30pm; Sunday December 18 from 10am until 3pm and from Monday December 19 until Friday December 23, from 10am until 5pm. Also on Christmas Eve, from 8am until 2pm.

Online sales are available on the United Website via the Club Store page. However orders will not be sent out before Christmas, if required for Christmas, tickets will only be available to pick up. Posting out of tickets will resume on Wednesday, December 28.

Ticket Prices are as follows:

North Stand - Adult, OAPs £15 and Children (under 16) £5

South Stand (section I) - All seats £20

South Stand (section J) - All seats £24
