TROON's St Meddan's Church were delighted to have a visit from Norman Liddle of the Scottish Bible Society.
Norman, who is the Community Partnership Manager for the organisation, received a cheque from Mrs Eileen Munro of St Meddan's for £4235.56 for use in their projects in Rwanda.
The church were encouraged to hear of the work being done to heal divisions in this country following many years of conflict.
St Meddan's held a number of fundraising events including a group of runners taking part in the Troon 10k event last May.
