LAMBRETTAS will be out in force next month when a popular annual event returns to Troon.
Friday Street - Glasgow's premier Mod club night have announced details of this year's Scottish Mod Rally to Troon and it could well be better than ever.
The event will run from Friday, April 28 until Sunday, May 30, during the May Bank Holiday Weekend.
Venues are the South Beach Hotel and Troon Concert Hall in South Beach.
Guest DJ's are Acky Buchan from Aberdeen) and Pid (Brum Beat, Birmingham)
Live Bands are Big Boss Man, The 45's and Spinning Wheel
Tickets are available now, priced £5 for Friday evening, £10 for Saturday evening and £22 for the full weekend.

Friday's event, which runs from 8pm until 1am at the South Beach, will be hosted by Ayrshire's Barrelhouse MOD Club, resident DJ plus guests. The Saturday gig at the South Beach Hotel is from noon until 5pm with free entry on offer. It will feature a live set from the 45's at 3pm and a guest DJ all afternoon. There will be vintage clothing and vinyl record stalls and a scooter competition and rideout to Prestwick.
A scooter ride out from Glasgow to Troon will take place on the Saturday morning with usual meeting points on the South Side of Glasgow and Ayrshire.
In the evening there will be an event in Troon Concert Hall, from 7.30pm until 1am, for which advance tickets are needed, and Troon Rally resident DJ's will be playing. Big Boss Man will be live plus resident DJS and Troon rally guest DJ's.
