TROON Rotary club members recently had the opportunity of meeting Rachael Duffy and a group of 2nd Troon Rainbows.
And Rotarian John Reekie was delighted to hand over a cheque for £200 towards the community group's activities.
The Rainbows meet every Tuesday in the Troon Scout Centre in St Meddan's St from 5pm until 6pm.
The girls are all aged between five and seven and currently there are 11 members who enjoy a variety of suitable activities and projects.
Funding is part of Troon Rotary's monthly support for local projects and suitable applications are welcome via the local Rotary website.
Rachael was delighted to accept the cheque and assured members that the funds would be well spent on activities and outings.
