Thumbs up for Ayr Town Centre revamp as £2.5million approved

THE two iconic pink buildings that greet you on New Bridge Street as you enter Ayr Town Centre are set for a £2.5 million makeover.

South Ayrshire Council this week invited contractors to tender to undertake conservation and refurbishment works to 1-6a, 8 & 10 New Bridge Street.
