Virus outbreak at Troon restaurant

CUSTOMERS at a Troon restaurant last weekend were struck down by illness after an outbreak of Norovirus at Scotts.

The virus stuck a proportion of both staff and customers at the restaurant situated overlooking Troon Yacht Haven, with staff from both NHS Ayrshire and Arran and South Ayrshire Council's Environmental Health Department quickly notified.
