A YOUNG South Ayrshire girl has captured the heart of her community and country in her latest battle to survive cancer.
Eleven-year-old Vanessa Riddle experienced just 18 months of life clear from Neuroblastoma before being told she had relapsed with the disease she has been fighting since February 2009, when she was aged just nine.
Her family, dad Chris, mum Connie and big sister Olivia, are now asking for the help of their friends, family and their town to help save their loved ones life by raising a staggering £500,000 to take her to the USA for state-of-the-art treatment.
