Explosion concerns if village quarry expands

HILLHOUSE Quarry in Dundonald will be expanding its site this year - two years earlier than residents were expecting.

South Ayrhsire Council has passed planning bids for work to begin sooner but Dundonald Community Council is concerned the expansion will increase the blasts heard and felt by villagers.
