A MAN is alleged to have assaulted bar staff inside popular Girvan pub the Roxy on Saturday night.

Girvan police have arrested a 38-year-old local man for allegedly assaulting the staff at the pub in Bridge Street around midnight on Saturday, May 15.

The man was also charged with allegedly conducting himself in a disorderly manner.

Meanwhile police are hunting for those responsible for stealing and burning out a flashy Jaguar convertible.
