WHEN Allister Boyd was told he had an inoperable brain tumour, the youngster spent the rest of his short life raising £250,000 for cancer charities.

Next month the late 20-year-old's dad, Robert, 57 - who himself battled cancer - will take Allister's inspirational legacy to the roof of Africa in a bid to raise a further £200,000 for CLICK Sargent.

He and 27 other volunteers from around Scotland are going to tackle Africa's highest peak in memory of Allister.
