GIRVAN Community Council have said they will work with wind farm developers so they can ‘minimise impact and maximise benefit’.

As well as the Breaker Hill wind farm development that sits eight KM south of Girvan, talks are also under way for a wind farm in Assel Valley two KM south east of Girvan, where at least three turbines will be situated in the Girvan area.
