GIRVAN Youth Trust (GYT) will launch their annual toy raffle to allow children in Girvan to get into the spirit of Christmas.
The annual community project was initially started as a ‘one off’ fundraiser has become an integrated part of the Christmas preparations in Girvan and South Carrick.
Apart from being in aid of GYT and their local community projects such as Music on the Prom and the Kids Seaside programme the raffle simply makes Christmas extra special for so many families and children.
Bill Logan of GYT said: “The ongoing and growing success of the project is of course only possible through the support that is extended to GYT by local shops and businesses who make a monetary donation or gift of a new toy.
“This does not prevent members of the public from also supporting what has become a ‘unique’ community event.”
