A PROPOSED new location for Bellsbank Post Office has been revealed.
The new location for the branch is hoped to be The Zone Initiative Ltd on Dalcairney Road.
This is 500 metres from the current Bellsbank Post Office on Merrick Drive, in Dalmellington, which is no longer available for Post Office use.
The Post Office is now inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the move in a six-week public consultation.
Should the move go ahead, the branch would open from 9am until noon on Monday and 9am until 11am on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Kenny Lamont, Post Office Area Manager, said: “We are confident that this relocated Post Office at the heart of the local community will meet customer needs.”
