Heids n Hooses

There is still time to make a ‘wee hoose’ or tall tower for the Carnival parade on October, 21. 

Come along to an after school workshop or Saturdays in the Scout Hall Girvan and Carrick Centre Maybole. Artists have been busy throughout Carrick in schools and community groups making lanterns for the procession.

Girvan Primary School after school workshops will take place in Girvan Scout Hall Glendoune Street this year for P4 -7 forms have been handed out at school- please phone or message to book a space. 

These workshops are also open to Sacred Heart pupils. Please bring registration forms to the first workshop.

CRAG are in the process of planning the 2017 community workshop programme so if you or your group want to get involved please in this year’s project why not give us a ring. 

All you need to provide is a space we can provide the tuition and materials.

Saturday 21 in the Queen Hotel, Girvan Doors open at 7.30pm
Junkmans Choir are a two man band with a Global sound Playing a mix of Cajun, Country Sea Shanty’s and Rockin Reels their sound is as unique as it is infectious..

Harry and the Hendersons are a seven-piece folk band who all hail from Glasgow, create a blend of soft, easy listening harmonies through the use of americana, country, folk and blues.
