Girvan woman 'in possession of 16 cannabis plants'
A WOMAN has been charged for allegedly being in possession of 16 cannabis plants in Girvan.
It is claimed that at 10.55pm on Saturday, September 9 on Tory Drive, the 35-year-old was found producing and being in possession of the controlled drug.
The Ayr Advertiser Series understands that officers entered the property with a search warrant, found the items inside and seized them.
The woman has been charged and reported to the procurator fiscal. She will appear at Ayr Sheriff Court at a later date.
