PLANS have been submitted to South Ayrshire Council to transform a retail site in Girvan into a cafe/restaurant.
The owners want to create a hot food takeaway which would open from 8am until 8pm in the summer and 8am until 6pm in the winter.
There would be a seating area for up to six people in the building which site at 55 Knockcushan Street.
Proposals include selling morning rolls followed by burgers, toasties and paninis at lunchtime. There would also be hot and cold drinks as well as a variety of snacks on offer.
The application was submitted and validated last month and a decision is yet to be made. If successful the owners will repaint the front of the building to make it more inviting to customers.
