GIRVAN and South Carrick have decided which projects they would like to see benefit children and young people.
The participatory budgeting was held on Saturday, February 18 at Girvan Academy where groups pitched for a share of the £38,000.
Successful groups who received the full amount they applied for to the 2 kare for South Carrick fund were:
1st Girvan Guides - £1760,
3 Ayrshire (1st Girvan) Scout Group - £2000

Girvan Academy – Malawi 2017 Expedition - £1400
Girvan Communtiy Sports Hub - £1805
Girvan Primary Parent Council - £2000
Music Therapy – Invergarven - £2000
S1 Youth Club - £150
S2 & S3 Club Girvan Youth Trust - £1380
Sacred Heart Parent Council - £1059
Sacred Heart Primary School - £2000
The remainder of the £20,000 left over was given to Girvan Bowling Club
