A MAN was arrested and charged after allegedly being four times over the legal drinking limit in Prestwick at the weekend.
The 49-year-old was charged with three separate offences including drink driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
The incident occurred at 12:30am on Sunday, October 16 in Shawfarm Road.
Police stopped the man driving his black Vauxhall. Police officers claim the man then failed a roadside breath test.
He was then taken back to Ayr Police Station where he was allegedly four times over the legal limit.
The man was set to appear in court.
