TENS of thousands of people signed up across the UK and South Ayrshire to take part in WWF's Earth Hour.

On Saturday, March 31, residents, businesses, offices and fifteen local landmarks from Stumpy Tower in Girvan to St John's Tower in Ayr switched their lights off for one hour from 8.30pm to 9.30pm.
