Major boat challenge awaits Ayrshire's Kate

A STUDENT from Ayr is gearing up for one of her biggest ever challenges next month as she makes her debut as Team President for Aberdeen University in Scotland's equivalent of the Oxford v Cambridge Boat Race.

Katie McPherson's showdown with Robert Gordon University will take place on the River Dee on Saturday, March 10.
