Police used CS gas to subdue politics student

POLICE used CS spray to subdue a foul-mouthed politics student who resisted arrest in Ayr town centre in the early hours of Christmas morning.

Benjamin Quinn, 23, was one of a large group of young people in Nile Court when police attended at 3.45am.
