Council's £250k bill to prop up falling Ayr Cemetery wall

SOUTH Ayrshire Council chiefs this week had to splash out £1/4 million to prevent the wall at Ayr Cemetery falling down.

Council officers came to leadership panel last Tuesday, January 17, to ask for the massive amount warning that if work is not undertaken there would be serious consequences.
