PLANS for 14 wind turbines are gaining momentum in Carrick.

Energy firm Ecotricity met with residents in Lendalfoot on Thursday, November 24 to guage reaction to its proposed wind farm at Straid Farm.

About 30 people from the village and surrounding area turned up to the firm's exhibition to see what the proposed wind park would look like.

But Lendalfoot resident Mark Wickens is still not convinced after seeing the firm's display in the village hall.
